A Song That Holds My Heart
I want to share a song that means so much to me. It’s "I Can’t Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand)" by Charles Johnson & The Revivers. Their version is so powerful—it touches my heart every time.
I first heard it years ago, during a tough season. Ministry felt heavy, and I was worried about my family. I felt weak, like I couldn’t keep going.
Then I heard Charles Johnson sing, "I can’t even walk without You holding my hand." It hit me hard. This song reminds me I can’t walk without God holding my hand.
It’s like Psalm 73:23, "Yet I am always with You; You hold me by my right hand." It’s His strength, not mine.
The Revivers’ harmonies are so warm and soulful. It feels like they’re singing right to my spirit. It’s perfect for quiet time with God, like the instrumental worship tracks I love.
When I listen, I feel God’s love wrap around me. It’s like He’s saying, "Cindy, I’ve got you. Just trust Me."
This song helps me walk in faith, never in fear. It’s a reminder for all of us—young or old—that we need God every step.
Maybe you’re feeling weak today. Listen to this version. Let it lift you up. Let it remind you God’s holding your hand too.
Share your favorite faith-filled song below—I’d love to hear it! Let’s keep leaning on Him together.
